Our long experience has helped us develop a fast and efficient website design process. This system enables us to rapidly develop new bespoke websites for our clients. We create every site from scratch. We don't use Wordpress website templates or compromising on quality and cutting corners.

The information below outlines the development process.
Before we begin work on your website we will have already spoken to you several times in consultation. At this point we will have a good understanding of your business and what you want to achieve.

The next step is for us to get all of your requirements into a written format. We'll then create work plan for the development of your website. To help us and save you time, we'll ask you to complete a simple design brief questionnaire. This normally provides us with the most of the information that we need so that we can start work.

The questionnaire itself is just a series of questions and answers. It only takes around 15 to 20 minutes to complete the form. Many of our clients find the exercise really useful. This is because it can raise ideas and questions they had not previously thought about.

Once we have received your brief, we'll call you to go through it in more detail.

We'll discuss each of your answers and confirm that we fully understand your requirements.
When you are happy that we have covered everything, you can give us the green light to begin work on your website.

Next we'll provide you with a start date and schedule of work. As soon as it's ready, we will load your design mock up onto our servers so you can view it in your browser. You will be able to see this using temporary link which we will send via email.
The mock is a full size representation of your website. You will be able see exactly how the site will look to your visitors.

Naturally, this will be your first glimpse of the whole concept coming together. It will ensure that we have met the objectives outlined in your brief. At this stage we can make any changes you want to the design. We'll discuss these with you and update the mock up as per your requirements. Throughout the process, we will continue to provide suggestions, help and changes until you are completely satisfied with the result. .

Once you are happy with the finished mock ups, our team will convert the design into working website pages. This process takes a couple of days depending on the number of pages. When it’s completed, you will be able to view your website in a web browser.

For most of our clients, this is the most exciting part of the project. It's when they actually see the website come to life for the first time. At this point, we will ask you to check through the pages to make sure that all of the information is correct.

We'll make any required changes and correct any other issues you have identified. Several proof readings are usually required so that nothing is missed.

If you intend to update the website content yourself, we'll show you how to do this by sharing screens. When you are 100% happy with everything, we can start the process of making the website live.

For ecommerce websites it's now time to begin adding your products.
If you have arranged for us to add products for you, we'll carry that out.
We'll set up your chosen payment gateway and place test orders to ensure everything works ok.
Once we've completed the testing, we'll ask you to do your own final checks. We advise having a good look through now to make sure you are 100% happy with everything.
Our support team will then explain how to manage your ecommerce website through the web admin.
We do this in real time by sharing screens with you. You should find this really easy but if you ever get stuck we're always be on hand to help.

Mapping your domain name. Once your website is ready to go live, the final task will be to map your domain name to the website itself. If you already have your own domain name you will need to be able to manage the DNS settings. It you don't know how to do this then we can do it for you.
If we have registered a domain name on your behalf, we'll make the changes to point it at your new website. We can then set up any email accounts you need. It can take up to 24 hours for the domain name to propagate over the internet. Your website will then be live for potential customer to view.

Once your website is up and running, we will continue to provide all of the help and support you need. Full support is included as part of our fully hosted website solution. This includes support with your email accounts.
